Term 1 Week 4 

On the first day of the week (Monday) the Year 5's went to Te Tuhi for making an art. It was called 'Story's from the Pacific' First we made the template for the next class, then we got a template from the previous class, next we drew our pictures in the 4 squares, one for where we live, one for our Culture, one for our Family and one for our interests. When it was time to walk back to school we were all so hungry, then, out of nowhere it started raining! We had to wait beside the crossing for ages! It felt like hours to me but it wasn't really. We had to get the school van to come. When it came it took 11 of us and one teacher, they didn't take me the first time but I didn't care, then the van came back for the rest of us, there was one parent and one child left but they got a car to pick them up, the last child got back to school safely along with the rest of us. As soon as we got back we had food and it was almost time for us to go home! We were so happy that we made it back in time and will hope it won't rain for Year 4's that leave on Friday this week.
